Meet Priyanka Jalandhara MD

As a leading board certified rheumatologist in North Texas, Dr. Jalandhara consistently delivers life-changing results and an exceptional experience for her patients.  After obtaining training from around the world, Dr. Jalandhara wanted to bring her expertise to the DFW metroplex. 

Dr Jalandhara graduated Saurastra University in India with Highest Honors, she was selected for an Internal Medicine residency at Chicago Medical School/ Mt Sinai Hospital residency program. During her tenure at Chicago Medical School, she served at Captain James Lovell Federal Health Center to take care of active duty naval offices and their families in North Chicago, IL. Rheumatological diseases in specific and rheumatoid arthritis in particular is the number one cause of disability in America. Dr. Priyanka Jalandhara has achieved sustained international acclaim for her extraordinary achievements throughout her distinguished career. Her original work has spurred continued innovation in the field of rheumatology.

After intense training at Mt Sinai, Dr Jalandhara decided to pursue her Fellowship training at University of Florida Fellowship program in Jacksonville FL. Since then, Dr Jalandhara moved to DFW Metroplex to join her family to call Texas her home. She has spent 3 years teaching and training residents as an Assistant Professor at University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT HSC). By teaching residents and treating her patients, she realized the incredible value of education, which has become an integral part and major focus of Dr. Jalandhara’s unique approach to rheumatology.
